The leaning tower of Lakeland

Does anyone who has the MN fave Lakeland heater airer find that it leans dramatically to one side? Mine looks like it is about to fall, but never has so far.

It has times where oddly it doesn't do it, but mostly it does. Makes no difference if loaded or empty, if cover on or off. I have looked for loose screws but there are none. I have moved it around and it slopes the same way everywhere so I don't think it is the floor, it even did it in a previous property.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and found a solution?

No sorry - ours is pretty steady.

Sorry, I have no help, but I love the title! Thought it was going to be about a mound of Tupperware

ours is leaning a bit but still holding strong.
it's ancient though!

Ours does, I braced it with a length of plastic cord between the bottom and the middle layer. From the side with the switch straight across and up diagonally.

Hope that makes sense

Thanks everyone, jealous of those who have steady towers! That's a good tip Petrarkanian, thanks, I think I know what you mean!

Sometimes the shelves on mine lean to one side or the other but they can be straightened up. I have to put my bowl of bread dough right in the middle to prove or the shelf goes wonky.

drspouse · 17/11/2020 20:09

Ours is straight and not wonky (though I do prove my bread dough in a very low oven).

Mine’s quite old but has always been a bit wonky.

Mine is fine. Have you had it a while? Maybe give Lakeland a ring, their customer service is generally excellent.

Yes, I think I might SpongeBob and see if they can advise, it looks v precarious today. Had it about 3 years at a guess.
