Any tips for cleaning the glass door of an oven?

I’m cleaning the oven with oven cleaner but it can’t go in the glass door, the inside of which is really dirty. I’ve wiped it down, used a sponge and fairy liquid and magic eraser but it’s still pretty bad.

Does anyone have any tips or products for cleaning it?

Yes. My own door opens down (I think most do,) and and the hinges are either side where the frame of the door connects to the oven. There's a little bit you flick up to "unlock" it, and then you just hold the door each side and pull it out. Or wiggle it, if it's a bit grimed in... I had my legs underneath it, in case it came out quickly and I dropped it, but I didn't.

I second the pink stuff, I use it for so many other things as well

People recommending the pink stuff, do you use the paste, the cream, the spray...? And what else is it good for? Thanks!

@QueenPaws Yeah so do I, but less than a week later someone had managed to drip something between the glass. Fuming.

I use the paste for the pink stuff. I’ve used it to clean trainers, stainless steel hob and backsplash, window frames and doors, pots with burnt food (not stuck on food but that burn that you can’t get rid of). My DH uses it to clean the glass on the fire door.

I get some guy that specialises in oven cleaning once a year. He can take door apart and has even replaced some seals.

Thanks Bumble84!

A bit late to this, but warm your oven up (just a bit!) and then use fairy liquid and wire wool.
