Best vacuum to get my hair out the carpet?!

I have long hair and no matter how much vacuuming I do it never seems to come out the carpet fully. Looking for recommendations on a good vacuum cleaner that will pick up my hair!!!

Try that old fashioned thing called a brush.
We use a soft one and brush each morning, I was shocked at how much hair I loose each day, and mine is long.

I use a rubber broom to go over the areas that get particularly hairy before I vacuum. It's amazing how much it gets up, and so much easier than having to clean all that hair off the roller.

Yes a rubber broom! I got one on amazon. It’s a bit of a workout for the arms but I find it quite therapeutic!

My DM made me clean the carpet with a damp and rough cloth - it was boring to crawl along the carpet on my knees but the result was always good.

I have recently invested in a shark vacume with pet hair anti wrap technology. Their words, not mine! It certainly seems to have hoovered up a bunch of hair and a whole heap of dust. The old dyson I had wasn't nearly as good, but it was very elderly, so probably better new.

Guy who reviews all vacuum cleaners and runs the same tests for all. This is his golden retriever dog hair on a rug. Miele Cat and Dog comes with 2 heads, one I only use for hard floors, the other rotating head as demonstrated here is for carpet.

I have a Shark with the Anti hair wrap feature. It is very effective.

I use either a wet rubber glove or the sole of a Converse - they do the trick!

Get a shark vacuum with the hair wrap technology.

Make sure you get one where you can easily remove the brush bar. My vac gets loads of hair up, but then I have to unscrew the bar which is a faff. My last vac had a brush bar that just popped out.

If anyone was wondering I ordered a shark which arrived last week and can't believe how much it's picked up!!!

Hair only comes off easily here with our Vax carpet cleaner as it too has a brush.
