Just that really. You can’t scrape it off because it’s like trying to scrape jelly. Bleach hasn’t don’t any good, bit has vinegar it bathroom cleaner.

Any ideas?

Toilet cleaner and bleach mixed is a no.

I have to say - my grouting and seal is sparkly clean now! I finished off the stubborn stains with the Waitrose bathroom cleaner.

My hands stink of bleach (must use gloves) but my grouting is clean. Good as new!

@FamilyOfAliens

I use this stuff - it’s brilliant!
How do you use that? Is it white like sealant is and just goes on top of any manky bits?

Bleach doesn't like being mixed with anything

Thanks for that! You see so many ‘tips’ on social media and some look downright dangerous!

So today’s cleaning conundrum...

I have a plastic soap dish - and it’s caked in soap (obviously) and I can only get it off by scar paint it off. It’s an odd shape (it has a drain). Is there anything I can soak it in to get all the soap off?

Scar paint = scrape

@FairFriday I'm fair jealous of your white grouting.

I have tried bleaching mine, leaving it on to soak, scrubbing at it with an old tooth brush and yet it still remains manky looking.

I think we basically need to re-frickin-grout ---bAhhhh humbug

QueenOllie · 15/10/2020 09:14

@FairFriday for a soap dish I would just soak in hot water and use a scrubber pad

ChristmasCantComeSoonEnough · 15/10/2020 16:37

Maybe hot water on a cloth to dissolve the soap, I’m guessing it is fixed in place so can’t be soaked?
