noooooo not barbie girl! i'll be humming this all night and everyone at my yoga class will think i've lost the plot!

managed to dress to shoes, shine sink, and put washing in, however sink is decidedly un-shiney atm, and there are so many hot spots in my house i can't distinguish one from an other...

really should get off mumsnet and get on with it all..........

Any of you lovely barbie girls ladies fancy coming to tell me about your food processors?

SuperMonkey · 02/10/2007 19:23

Me and the boy have been swimming this afternoon, I don't know which of us it more tired. Really good fun and he didn't cry when he was dunked under the water. I'll get my bedtime routine done though.

flowerybeanbag · 02/10/2007 19:25

ooh monkey, I've been thinking I ought to take DS swimming. You'd recommend then?

SuperMonkey · 02/10/2007 19:35

It was our first lesson today and I think it will be really good for him. Lots of bouncing around in the water and singing to make them comfortable. It finished off with a dunking under the water and he looked startled but didn't cry. So yes, I do think it's a good idea. One baby though cried all the way through (they didn't dunk him), I wouldn't be surprised if they don't come back next week.

Got back late last night - after midnight. Baby and I have colds, but sink is still shiny.

DP kept up the regime whilst we were away. Have just put out clothes for tomorrow for baby and me but will skip rest for tonight.

Planning to get back to proper baby steps tomorrow, pls don't let me fall off the wagon.

unknownrebelbang · 02/10/2007 21:55

You're all maaaaaaad, lol.

DH has done much less today, but then he had a very important job to do - fix a hat for DS2 for a concert tonight, lol (and spend aaages in the travel agents, his favourite pastime).

Today has been hectic, with unexpectedly working late and the aforementioned concert, but I got there in the end(DH is shining the sink as I type).

Exercise bike and ready (no shoes, lol)
read reminders etc
shiny sink
hot spot
decluttered another bit of the kitchen (day 9)
clothes/uniforms ready for tomorrow
made a start on my routines doc(day 8)

Another busy day tomorrow, so might take the lazy option and leave day 10 til Thursday, lol.

CindersNeedsHelp · 02/10/2007 22:05

I?ve been taking DS swimming (WaterBabies at first, now local pool) since he was 4 months old. He is so confident in the water, even being dunked under! I heartily recommend it. DS is now 17 months.

It had actually gone from my head, but is now back with a vengeance and is going to keep me up all bloody night. serves me right I suppose

clothes laid out for tomorrow, for me and the DCs.....and sink still shiny!!

"ooh ooh oooh yeah"
