Loft ladders are great. I am definitely off up there tonight. Now that I have found out that I am definitely not having a neice I have to find something to do with the mounds of girls clothes I have up there. Also going to sort out the 3yo boy winter stuff to share out between my nephews. Then I will get down our winter duvet and the suitcase with my winter coats/jumpers/boots in.

Asking my dh to actually 'do' something particularly like putting in a loft ladder would probably cause world war 3.

Well do it yourself then. And get him to take the DC out while you do.

He may be lying to me but he says our loft hatch thing isn't the right size for a loft ladder....?? Not sure if i believe him. I would love to put one up myself but i am useless i have a small blind sitting here that has been waiting to go up for three months now which he hasnt got round to..anyone know how i can put it up myself to show him i can do things myself?? It only involves two screw things but haven;t got a clue

I can't stand going up in my loft with 180 year old dust up there, but I can stand it a lot better than continually climbing over all the STUFF that the 4 of us need to store between seasons, in our 2 up 2 down no shed no garage!
After my spring and autumn loft sortings I always feel strangely liberated...

You might have a dh or does things for you cod but unfortunatley i don't.
