What type of rug for an office chair on wheels?

Now working from home I have my wheeled office chair in the spare bedroom which has laminate floor.
I want to get a rug to stop it moving around. What’s the best type of rug to get for this? I’m guessing nothing to thin or too thick?

Just googled rugs and several thousand appeared so recommendations would be great please!

We have a clear rubber mat possibly from Ikea to save the carpet getting tucked up. It may work for you too, to slow the chair down?

We use a plastic floor protector on the laminate and carpet under wheeled chairs. It's the Ikea Kolon. Or maybe a Marvel doormat type would work. How big were you thinking?
