in an effort to change this i have just changed my home page from mumsnet/talk to flylady

Well, we've swapped rooms with the DDs yet again . But it does mean we've decluttered a bit.

Housework is not going too well with DH having been here all week, but some DIY things have got done like new curtains, new hooks on walls, swapping rooms with girls over and over again .

Sorry to hear your bad news tibni .

Hello watling and daisy .

Evening all

How's the head harleyd?

Sorry thngs aren't good at the moment tibni. I hope your dh finds some more work soon.

Welcome daisy*BigBear - your upstairs must be totally decluttered after moving around twice!

Everyone seems to be noticing how much more mess/less housework happens when there is a man at home all day
I have the same problem, but dp is also starting on some of the work that urgenty needs doing, so I'm not going to complain today.

I've done the evening routine, and dp has cleared up the mess he made upstairs.

He complained about the mess downstairs this morning, so I put all the junk he had left lying around in the bin 90% of it is still there.
