tibni - i think that my evening routine is working for me this time round because I am doing it as soon as I have put ds into bed. (ie before I st down and watch tv/ turn on mumsnet/ open a bottle of wine!)

I have washing on the line, and am up and dressed I'm off to dish up beakfast for the two children who are up.....

Hi all, went out last night for the first time in about two months. Forgot to drink any water when I got home. Feel monstrous. Have done nothing yet except put telly on for DD2, head is throbbing.

alycat hope your DS is feeling better. Sounds like you had the sort of day that makes you feel like collapsing on the sofa in a tearful heap. Really hope things are better today.

I think it is Rotorvirus - he had it before it has a very distinctive aroma last time he had it he ended up in hosp and I caught it too as no soap in our bathroom! Good for the weight loss...

I'd love to see before and after pics sms! If only I knew where my digital camera was - lost amongst the junk I'm afraid , I'm hoping that FLYing will rediscover it and save me some money!

Hi everyone.

Nothing done yesterday as DD2 still poorly. However she woke at 6 today and rather than feed her in bed and send DH downstairs with her I got up too. So, I've got quite a bit done of my morning routine.

• made beds,
• s&s'ed bathroom,
• unloaded & reloaded dishwasher,
• loaded washing machine,
• cleared kitchen worktops & sink,
• done 2 minute hotspot (picked up toys all over living room)
• worked out what is for dinner tonight

Actually, when I add that all up it only took about 20 minutes

So now I have to do:

• Shine my sink
• 15 minutes
• Kelly?s Mission

Everyone is doing really well. Hopefully we'll have no more vomit / poorly babies..

Morning all

Hope all the poorly DC's get better soon.

This morning i have:

All up and dressed to shoes
Loaded and unloaded the washing machine
Hung out a load of washing
Emptied the dishwasher
Breakfast for all

To do:
DS2 is at nusery today so I need to get more done:

15 min task
wash the floors
hoover upstairs
2 min hotspot
Supermarket shop -ergggg

I am like Jas and fine that if I do the evening routine before sitting down then it does get done.

im just going to be carrying on with the decluttering of the upstairs today. have all the morning stuff done and i have to go and get some shopping done so i will do that before i have to get dd2 from nursery.

My sympathies to those whose dc are unwell & to Bear & her hangover. Am sure you'll be able to catch up when everyone is well - don't worry about flying now, family comes first .

I really feel as though I haven't done anything this morning, but maybe the routine is becoming second nature now [hopeful grin].

up & dressed to shoes
s & s bathroom
breakfast for myself & ds then cleaned up
unloaded/loaded d/w
texted friend about lunch today
prepped ds's night clothes

We're out for dinner tonight so no evening meal so worry about, but do need to plan ds's menu for next week (we're off to Dublin whilse he stays at home with grandma ). I have no washing left to do , but will have to hoover again as ds is wandering around with a bit of brioche that he's supposed to be eating but is obviously just mucking about with.

I do have a load of phone calls to make though - will have to wait until ds is asleep later.

I don't have a porch, so will do the dining room mission - I spotted a couple of cobwebs on the picture rail that I may need a ladder to get to.

Just done my morning routine so far, although washing to go on line when i have finished on MN!
Off to work again shortly, so not sure what i will get done later.
I have done all my ironing so feeling good about that, my washing basket is almost empty.....until they all fill it later
I haven't got a dining room and porch is actually quite good, but if i get time i will clean the porch door and windows.

fgs, your poor dd has been ill for a while, you both must be exhausted. Well done for still getting your routines done.

I am not doing my routines properly but have liberally sprayed all door/loo handles with antibac!

Also have started decluttering the porch/entrance hall and understairs cupboard - already had freecycle takers for a basic stroller and britax car seat that have been haning around unused for 2 yrs!

Well, the hoovering is done, kitchen still shiny & tidy, and dining room looks better (still a bit of clutter as its where ds & I spend most of the day - think we only eat in there at Christmas).

Ds has just gone out for lunch and a walk with my mum and dad. I would normally be spending time without him rushing madly from one room to the next playing the housework catch-up game. But not anymore . I'm off out to lunch with my friend for a bit of R&R for me.

Yes, there are still things to be done (esp upstairs), but this is all about babysteps and keeping it going isn't?

DD2 now covered from head to foot in rash and still grumpy. Not much done since this morning but place not looking too bad.

Hi, Well i've made a start on my evening routine already so pleased with that! Hectic day, first chance to get on pc so will have to look at mission.

Ive got some decluttering done and a couple of hotspots. Overall i'm a little more organised so pleased about that.

Going to put a colour on my hair later so will probably have to do a full clean of the bathroom after! Non drip my !

Should get a bit more time tomorrow so hoping for a good day!

Hangover abating somewhat, but have done no housework today . Managed to swish and swipe bathroom and put the WM on, but DH has done the rest. Thankfully he's on holiday this week.

Oh, I am dressed though, so that's something .

FGS and Alycat I hope your little ones recover soon...and thank you for asking alycat...my migraine has gone (thankfully).

I haven't caught up with the thread properly, as I have just a few minutes before DH needs it...

I have had a bloody mad couple of days! Trying to sort out a car... we have managed to exchange Dh's van for an Escort estate...which was sat on a forecort for wayyyyy too long....I have spent all day cleaning it! Previous owners had a dog...god....little white hairs stuck into all the fabric...ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Anyway...hope to have a less hectic day to catch up a bit

I am thinking of leaving this thread as it seems to be a place of doomed illness and accident . Still you still seem to be doing more than me even with the poorly children and broken toes.

Today I have
Kept my sink shiney
2 min hotspot - worktops
2 min hotspot - bottom of stairs
30min declutter - hall ( I am hoping that this meets mission requirements - TUes & Weds!!)
2 loads of washing (last years coats!!!)

Unfortunately I have a pile of clean washing dumped in my bathroom and a pile of clean washing dumped in my conservatory which will require some attention tomorrow. If I get chance I also want to clean the patio doors of finger prints in my conservatory.
I should clarify that we use conservatory as a dining area so I think it fits the zone.

I also plan to blitz the bathroom before the end of the weekend so that I can start S&Sing next week.

Oh and DDs were only on my profile for 20 mins. Sorry you missed them.

Sorry sms but I am adding to your prophecy of doom....ds hasbeen up all night with croop, and is still really rough. I don't have time to start threads and do links. so will someone please start todays thread. I may be bak later if I get hm tothe dr and he sleeps at all.
