Shark corded or Miele?

Hi everyone looking for thoughts on which Hoover? We have a three storey house mostly carpeted but ground floor hard floors. We have two young kids and two cats so plenty of mess to clean! Currently have a Dyson cordless fairly old just not cutting it anymore. I considered Henry but got is telling me shark lift away corded or old school miele with bags.

Anyone with experience happy to say what they would go for in my circumstances? Thanks

Love my Miele cat and dog- best vacuum I've ever used. It makes my wrist ache a little mind, but I am pretty sure I have arthritis.

Ive been looking into this and followed some youtuber's doing independent testing. The vacuum that knocked spots off the shark/miele/sebo etc was a vax air model. They now manufacture it in a liftaway model and theres a reach version that covers 17 m if you need it. Its what I'll be buying and costs much less than the shark

I have a new Miele and it’s excellent but very heavy. I wouldn’t like it for a three storey house and all those stairs.

I have Miele cat and dog and it's brilliant. Tried my friend's shark and it was so heavy!
