No, not ironing, I'm up as I've had some freak come into my back garden tonight and am now feeling abit nervous about going to bed. The ironing can wait for tonight. Will have to give in soon and go to bed with a can of hairspray by the bed and a phone under my pillow.

Hi

Done the fish tank...and it looks lovely again ...the fish really sparkle when the water and the glass are nice and clean.
I decided to move the fish tank whilst it was half empty, then decided to move the sideboard, which meant I had to move the table ......I now have 2 rooms to straighten out! The kitchen, where I moved it from, and the living room....where I moved it too!! (Why do I do these things?!!!)

Hello all

Done no flying today, except the basic morning routine of wash, make beds, S&S loo and bathroom, make breakfat and clear away

Been out of the house with Ed since 9. he was so very well behaved yesterday I said he deserved a treat. I took him on the local train to Leeds station to see the Steam train that runs to Scarborough. He was so excited and he got to stand on the footplate and watch the fireman load the coal into the boiler. It was fantasdtic for the cost of the train fare to Leeds. We had a Subway for lunch and a traispe round Leeds. Again Ed was beautifully behaved

Got my final fitting for my bridesmaid dress at 5 so I have to scrub up and put the underwear on. Gopod job I flew so well yesterday.

Think I'll take Ed to the park tomorrow. He wants to play golf!

luda Why did you decide to move the sideboard? Did you just fancy a change of furniture arrangement? Our guinea pigs need cleaning out - think I will pass that job over to dd3 this afternoon.

Aw grouchyoscar, you seem to have such fun with Ed

We are going to have a barbecue later as it is so hot. If the weather is this good on Friday, I'm going to take the girls to the beach.

Thanks gibberish We do have fun but he has been very hard work. A 4" 3.5 stone 4 year old with his own mind. he can be very bloody minded and I constantly feel like a bad mother.

No way - you sound like a great mum! You do so much with him - you put me to shame. They are all different eh? Two of mine are easy, the other two more difficult to deal with. Plus dd1 is a teenager aaargh! And dd2 will be a teenager in January aaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrgghhhhhhhh!!!

All rooms sorted out again now.
gibberish I decided a while ago I wanted to move the fish tank into the living room, to make space in the kitchen, but had to wait until I was cleaning it, as it is too heavy to move when full. But the sideboard needed to be moved to the other side of the room, as there was a plug socket on the other wall, not on the wall the sideboard was against. [take a breath] Are you following me? Anyway, there is now a clear surface in the kitchen and the fish are on the sideboard, on the other side of the living room, by the plug, so they can have a light and nice bubbles

And...my super top FLY tip of the day.....
Find an old pair of pyjamas (I had a fleecy pair that had gone very loose, and the kids kept de-bagging me every time they swung round my legs)Let the kids rip them to bits (which rather alarmingly they thoroughly enjoyed )and then let them dust! We have dusted the whole house!! They absolutely loved it! LOL I was very impressed with my inginuity actually, and the fleece works great as a duster.

I have a nice dust free, rearranged house

Gosh...I have babbled on for long enough....off to have a sit down

Well I have finished my list finally, just hoovered round...didn't do the upstairs though but will do it tomorrow.

Hope the fish are happy in their new home

Has been a fabulously hot day - have just had a barbecue. Off to load the dishwasher (which is working again - I must have overloaded it before which was why it wasn't working )

The joiner seems to be avoiding me . He is meant to be coming Friday to finish the kitchen but he said he would phone to confirm. And he hasn't. Phoned him and left a message but he hasn't phoned back. So so so so so so sick of this.

Had the final fitting for the dress...It looks fab. I'm not too happy with the undies but hey ho, it's just for one day.

I've put Ed to settle in our bed watching Nick Jr Classics. They have Ivor the Engine on soon. I hope he stops soon tho, where does he get the energy from? I'm bushed!

Hi everyone.

Bad day. DD1 had a heavy wooden curtain pole fall on her head (don't laugh) and we had to a&e to check she wasn't concussed. 2.5 hours later and we left. She is fine.

DD2 stayed with a neighbour and was fine.

DH still away...

Me - tired.

grouchy I thought the same thing...you alays make time to do loads of stuff ith your ds. That is hat he ill remember hen he s big. You also do loads more than me

Yay for the dusting ludaloo , and fish tank moving. I kno hat a hassle it is to move them.

gibberish fabulously hot day? Barbecue? It rained all day here. I had my heating on

e've done the stich removal, and dd2 looks good. The scar ill be tiny, and mostly in her eyebro.
DS is covered n bruises no...he kept falling over at my friends house this afternoon.

I'm going to do a bedtime clear up in the kitchen, then get an early night. DS is getting up at 5 lately and it is starting to catch up ith me.

Yeah, we had weather like that all last week - cold and very very wet. Infact had very bad storms 2 nights ago but today was incredible! So hot. So hopefully it's coming your way
