Miele Blizzard CX1 Cat & Dog or Shark Duoclean Liftaway True Pet

I need a new vacuum cleaner and have narrowed it down to these two (have ruled out Dyson). Any thoughts? I'm always amazed how different reviews can be.

Do the brushes get clogged with hair (I seem to moult more than the dog!)? The Duoclean comes with anti hair wrap brush but a salesman, who was really pushing the Dyson, said this does not work. Is he correct?

I've got the blizzard. It's as near perfect as anything I've ever used - all you need to do is grab any clumps of hair that stick in the brush and let it go up the pipe. If I had more carpet, I'd probably buy the additional brushbar attachment but in all honesty, with me, DTwatCat #1 and DTwatCat #2 Fluffyknickers Edition moulting all over the place and just a couple of rugs and stair/landing carpet, we don't need it.
