Want to kill my builder, am I alone???

Feeling very fed up with building work on my home.Also pregnant after a stillbirth so not very rational at moment.

Need to hear some builder stories to make me realise I am not alone...

Think its driving me to edge.Not having good pregnancy either as lost baby 2 years ago stillborn so very nervous about this one.#

TTC for 2 years and week after we moved in found out i was pg! Thrilled of course but crap timing!

Any news with builder chocolatepeanut? Just come back from hols and kitchen complete. He's starting on bathroom now - arghh!

Well, I discovered at 4pm today that the builders have inadvertently knocked our tv aerial out of alignment. They have gone home and I am left with 3 bored kids and no tv reception.

Glass of wine, anyone?

Well still considering killing builder....

Baby due 5 weeks. Everyone saying "ooo your big,it will come early...."(not helping)

Conservatory up and Kitchen extension up.No roof on extension just wooden batons and sheet plastic.Old toilet window above this still waiting to be bricked up.
Old kitchen window and lounge window knocked out but new french doors which will lead into conservatory not in yet.Started putting wood in this week to make new frames for doors and so plasterboard can go on.
About 5 ton rubble on drive and concrete everywhere.Outside filthy.Neighbours scowling....

Said this week that will all be done by mid Nov (originally said End Oct) and that includes fitting new kitchen and downstairs loo.Am living upstairs in freezing house with 4 year old.All downstairs space full building gear and boxed appliances for new kitchen.

Tell me it will get better..pleasssseee!!

Feeling depressed and reading last note and realising in same position, feel worse.

2 weeks to go.Gave builder a two week extension that ends Sat to finish off and this week hes done 4 hours

dh just rang him and hungover. Said he will be here tomorrow.
