Helloooo

Well DD2 has "Slapped Cheek Disease" can't treat it, just have to let it run its course.
DD1 has the same but no spots yet, and has a lymphoid infection??? which she has antibiotics for.

All better soon hopefully

shouldbe · 24/07/2007 17:40

Luda my dd has has slapped cheek a couple of times. It made her tired and run down and lasted about a week. iirc, it's dangerous to be in contact with anyone pregnant (esp the early stages) so be careful.
EHM thanks x
I'm off to the supermarket alone - BLISS

Evening

luda Sorry to hear your los are poorly. My dds had slapped cheek when they started school. Hope they feel better soon.

shouldbe - Don't put yourself down re the mothering skills. We all have bad days/weeks/months. I'm sure your dd knows you love her. I don't always like my children, but they always know I love them.
Well done on the nursery helping/no anxiety. Definitely something to be proud of.
Oh, no rush for the shoes, he may need to grow into them a little bit more anyway.

More ironing Aufish! You difinitely iron too much! (But well done for keeping on top of it all.

I've done almost none of my list. I will have to keep it going for a few days I think. The sun was shining and the dds have played out al day, so I have been sat chatting with friends and neighbours. Rain forecast again for tomorrow, so the cinema was put off til then.

I will get the kids settled, and try and do something to the downstairs tonight. DS threw almost all of his dinner around the room this evening.
Back later.

You've done pretty well, Jas
I hope my dd knows I love her just not her behaviour, it's hard to tell when she seems so stroppy/angry/grumpy/tired/moody with me much of the time at the moment. She's lovely to everyone else.
I've done the supermarket shop and some laundry and that's it for today. I need to have a big blitz tomorrow morning before school/pre-school break up at lunchtime and I won't have the chance to catch up again for the next 6 weeks!

I'll be here with a good list in the morning.

Bye for now

Jas · 24/07/2007 21:35

I'm sure she does, shouldbe That is why she knows she can save all her moodiness for you How old is she?

Aufish · 24/07/2007 21:59

Jas the amount of washing and ironing that has produce in a week is unbelievable, 6 people in one house really does build up, so I need to keep up with it so then it won't get too much. Luckily I'm almost at the end of the washing pile and the ironing pile is managable. Not doing any tonight though, am having a break until tomorrow.

She turned 6 a couple of months ago Jas. Have been looking at her asleep tonight - she's sooo lovely and can be so thoughtful and caring. makes me feel sad that she and I are struggling so much at the moment...it's been going on for a while on and off (mostly on) and I'm starting to worry about the long-term effect on our relationship - it's that bad (am sobbing now!) Must get to bed and get a good nights sleep, bound to make me feel better....

tortoise · 24/07/2007 22:01

Hi all.
Had a quick read through.
Luda Sorry you have poorly dc again. i think DS2 has slapped cheek. came out of school with quite red cheeks and they are still red. he seems ok in himself though. He has had a cough and cold.

Balloons etc up ready for DD2's 3rd birthday tomorrow.
Feel my baby is 3 already.

Aufish You are mad ironing until that late at night! i did my pile earlier. But it didn't take very long!

Right, i need to get DD2's new digger out of the loft! This should be fun!

tortoise · 24/07/2007 22:02

oops forgot Shouldbe. Sorry you and DD are having problems. i am sure she knows you love her. Any chance of spending a one to one day with her in the hols?

shouldbe · 24/07/2007 22:04

tort can you say hello to me on MSN? I can't get it to connect to you fo rsome reason - the little egg timer thingy comes on and won't go away....

tortoise · 24/07/2007 22:16

Oh shouldbe sorry i missed you. i was getting the digger out the loft.
I think DD2 will love it!
Catch you sometime tomorow
((( hugs )))

grouchyoscar · 25/07/2007 02:18

Wednesday

Sorry I missed you all today. I made a scrumptious looking chocolate fudge cake today. Oh and Ed consented to let me put his train set away. First time I've been able to vac the front room rug in a week . Thank god we have a Kirby.

Ed can have no more train set as the IKEA hamper in the front room is packed. Spoilt kid.
