Is it in any way possible to work FT, have no cleaner etc AND have a house that does not resemble a landfill site?

I would say no, not possible unless you are prepared never to read a book, go out for the evening, chat to friends on the phone etc...

No, my dh works all week, I work all weekend. Share childcare and dream of getting a cleaner but thought that only posh people had them . Maybe I should get one as this thread could have been started by me! LOL at KEW!
Ds hasn't started crawling yet but when he does GREAT idea starlight

I'd recommend one of those dust buster hand held vacuum things. Got one of them prior to DS as a present, couldn't understand why, now its the most used household item we own, apart from the bottle opener.

Great for getting really big piles of crumbs & dust and creating a vaguely clean environment.
