Smelly teenager and dry cleaning

Ds sings in a uni choir: think hectic schedule with international tours, plus regular concerts and services through the week. His suit and DJ are dry clean only and we get them cleaned each holiday. But (after 5 terms) they really honk of stale sweaty teenage boy/wet dog, even after cleaning...

Is there any solution? Should I spray them with Febreeze or something and hang them outside? Call in pest control to fumigate?

Any suggestions welcome. Ta.

Only the obvious one - get them dry cleaned once a term.

I'd try steaming the suit with a hand steamer, I find that really gets rid of smells and is fine to use on a site.

Thanks. We do get them cleaned every term, but that doesn't seem to be enough!

Sorry, slip of the brain, I meant each 'half term', as I forget universities don't tend to have them.

If he's showering daily, it's possible that he's just going to have to get them cleaned more regularly and not wait for for you to do it when he comes home, say every fortnight/immediately after they've been worn for a performance.

Does he wash his other clothes as soon as he's worn them? If he's not doing his own washing, the other clothes in his wardrobe could be stinking the place out.

In addition, he could benefit from getting a second suit, as that gives more time between wears (and makes it easier to get one dry cleaned).
