I forgot to wash a couple of pans - it's been 3 weeks now, will they be safe if I wash them with bleach?

Don't even know why I'm on here, I don't have kids haha.

Anyway I've got a glass oven tray and a griddle. After I used them I washed off what I could and left them to soak.

I live in supported accommodation (for people with mental health problems) and staff were coming to do room checks, so I hid them away in a bag because they looked messy 😆

I can easily get the grease off with baking soda but I'm worried about germs - should I just use a bit of bleach?

Thanks!

No need, just really hot soapy water and a thorough scrub.

Ordinary dish soap / washing up liquid and hot water will take care of any germs, OP.

Please don’t use bleach.

No need for bleach.

If they were really dirty and mouldy what I might do is wash them twice, the second wash in a fresh bowl of soapy water.
