I went to a Thermomix demo and was very impressed - it’s so fast - but the closed lid (not seeing the cooking) and the small size of the jug meant it wasn’t right for me.
I’m not convinced by blades for kneeding dough either, nor having onions chopped like that - the blades make it a bit hit and miss sizewise for the outcome. It’s noisy too though the TM6 is supposed to be better.
However, I am thinking of buying a cooking chef (CC) as I have used a Kenwood Chef for years and love it but my old version from 2003 is fairly worn out.
Does the CC make sense as a mixer? How useful
is it in reality that it cooks?
I could get my machine serviced and buy a flexible beater and save a whole heap of money. I have good attachments for it and I don’t know if they will fit the new CC and Kenwood were uncertain too(!).
Does anyone recommend them? If so what have you made with it?
