It has been shoved on top of my wardrobe since the wedding 2 years ago.

I have decided to flog it as I have the memories/photos dont need to keep dress.

Its a maggie sottero dress and they seem to sell well.....

I dont want to pay £100 to clean it just in case it doesnt sell so it is now soaking in my sink and about go in washer on delicate cycle.

Will it fall apart? Will all the beads fall off?!!

yes pecka it is. It's just I sat infront of someone very similar to your dh and you on friday.

My wedding dress is literally like a rag. It was torn on my wedding day when someone stood on it during the ceilidh dancing and it's covered in various substances which tell the tale of a bloody good party. I've never cleaned it - it's in a bag in the wardrobe and for me I'd chuck it but dh says no for some reason.

I've never really gotten the idea of a wedding dress being all precious to be boxed up forever more but that just me.

Dont think I would put it in the wash though, I'd probably send it to the cleaners.

Was it possibly Carpenter? or Wyper?

Not stalking or anything, just recognised style of photos

PeckaRolloverAgain · 10/07/2007 14:30

He did mine too Pecka!

Funny I was going to try and sell mine but DH said no. Its not like it would even fit me ever again. I am tempted to wash it and sell it now.

Its burgandy bodice and Ivory skirt in satin. Is the colour likely to bleed??

PeckaRolloverAgain · 10/07/2007 21:59

What kind of material is it Skribble?

Where did you get married mozzybear?

Near Dumfries, I work in Gretna so I needed to go somewhere no one really knew us or our guests so it wouldn't be talk to town how drunk we all were
