What is the best to buy. Least elbow grease required.

Usually use Napisan here, but might try the cold salt soak first in future!

I’ve used hydrogen peroxide which worked brilliantly. It was really cheap - I bought it from the pharmacy counter, although they did ask what I wanted it for.

Colour test it first though.

Dylon Travel Wash - yellow tube, available in Boots.

Certainly gets blood out - just rub a bit on & leave for a couple of mins before washing.

It is amazing on stains & will even get turmeric out!

When I've come home from work and that's happened (about twice a month - just tampon accidents) I run my knickers under cold water, and scrub a Dove soap bar on the stain. Works every time as long as I come home and do it - I don't leave it - but obviously I want to freshen myself up. When the stain has come out I don't allow the knickers to dry, I put them in the wash within a couple of days and use biological washing powder.

All quite hygienic. No one else accesses the soap bar I use.

just soak in cold water & bio powder. then add to normal wash.
if you use a normal, long washing cycle it will come out fine.

dementedpixie · 10/02/2019 14:15

Cold water rinse and then wash with bio powder. Has worked for dd nose bleeds and period leaks.

Buy black pants!

Doesn't help with other clothing mind you.

RandomMess · 10/02/2019 14:27

I completely agree with black pants switched my DDs over when they went to secondary school in preparation.

WinkyisbackontheButterBeer · 10/02/2019 14:32

Soaking in milk works too.

PerspicaciaTick · 10/02/2019 14:33

Vanish gel. The moment the Vanish hits the blood it fizzes madly and lifts the blood out. It doesn't fizz on the unstained fabric. It's fascinating.

cittigirl · 10/02/2019 14:52

Yes I thought about black pants. Hard to find the right one...Dds has sensory issues. She has a certain type which I've yet to find in black but I'll keep looking

I feel your pain about finding DDs comfy pants.

I've found the GAP breathe range successful but you do have to carefully unpick the labels!

Thank you. Fwiw I found some in Primark. Women xs.
