My sons tshirts always come out of the wash still with stains on the cuffs and neck where he has spilt his food. Can I use diluted household bleach to soak them in?? The tops are all light colours. If not what else works??
Thanks

I've used it for food stains with some success.

What kind of mix would you recomend...1 cap of bleach in some hot water??

Soak them in nappisan for 2 hours.
Then if its still faintly there wash them with vanish rubbed on stain. The one that looks like deoderant is best.
Then hang in full sun.

You can tell I've done this before.

I'd only do it on white cotton things - clothes, muslins etc (use a good squirt in a sinkful of water) - if coloured clothes get either Vanish, Shout or Ace.

I have tried vanish spray and also using a cap of some powder stuff in the wash...think it was cillit bang or something, and neither worked. I will try bleach on the white stuff!
