Best device to put in the plughole to stop hair building up in the drain?

Anyone? This is for the shower over the bath. The one I currently use doesn't allow water to drain adequately in the bath. All that happens is a scummy residue left a few inches up from the bottom of the bath tub, plus random hairs deposited around the tub as the tub has drained so slowly long after the person has got out of the shower.

Does anything exist that stops most of the hair but also allows water to drain fast enough?

I put in a plug hole strainer thing from wilko that was 50p. It sits on top of the plug hole and catches the hair and you can clean it out easily. It’s a kitchen one.

I have this one from Lakeland. It's pricy but it looks nice and cover a big area to allow for easy draining. Both my daughters have think waist length hair and if it can cope with their hair I bet it's good for anyone's.

I have the OXO Good Grips one shown above in my shower, it is good with my hair which is below bum length and sheds like anything. There are 2 sizes available large and small (I got mine on Amazon and they had both sizes available) as I don't think the large size would sit properly flat over a bath plug hole.

Look up Shower Flower. They don't look like much but are brilliant. Am not sure if they are available outside Ireland but you can check that out. I absolutely hate pulling up the shower trap thing and cleaning out the gunk and hairs but these have stopped that
