Bear with me...
We’ve just got back from two months away from home. Unfortunately I left a cloth bag containing some potatoes hanging on the back of our kitchen door! They’ve completely liquified and smelled absolutely awful! I have now binned them and the bag... the problem I have now is this.
The kitchen door is an old fashioned wooden one with two glass panels in the top half. The liquid from to bag has dripped down the glass and into the gap between the glass and the wooden frame - and presumably seeped in down into the door. It smells awful - but I don’t know how to clean/ neutralise it when I can’t reach it.
I’ve poured a lot of vinaigre over the gap and will leave it till tomorrow. Any other suggestions?
