Good morning everyone, and special big hello to bewilder, I just read the end of last night's thread - many congratulations

I was organised and packed the lunches/school bags last night so am very pleased about that
I have loads to do today, the housework has got away from me over the holiday (but we did have fun so I don't really mind) and so I have masses of laundry, putting away, cleaning up etc etc to get through to bring the place back up to speed before we go away at the end of next week...
~make beds
~strip and washing bedding from master bedroom
~put away clothes from floor
~quick pick up of toys in kids rooms
~hoover and dust upstairs
~s&s cloakroom
~s&s kitchen (and do mission)
~put away all stray toys downstairs
~hoover and dust downstairs
~mop floors downstairs
~put all clutter away from hall
~tidy utility room
~washing x 2 or 3 loads
~washing up
~put clean washing away

That'll probably do it...very little chance I'll get through it all but I will try or all the FLYing over the past few months is going to be lost and I'll be in choas again!

Its very quiet here with just me and dd2. Got the others off to school and pre-schhol on time.

Got up and got the eldest to school
put load of towels in dryer
put load of washing in machine
went back to bed!!
got up and put load out on line
put another load on
had breakfast

To do:

Get dressed
Get youngest child showered as he's painting everything
clear up the paint stuff
wash up and dry up
go to the post office
general tidy
wait for the CAFCASS officer to come as he has to do his final report for the court.
3 x loads of washing

Will be back later at some point to update how far I've got on with it all.

I've found a bag with 3 linen vest style tops I bought in sainsburys over a month ago and have never even unpackedI was saving them for holiday but have tried them on and can see where i have lost some weight cos they don't fit so well - too late to return them now so I may need to add a couple of stiches to try to make them fit better....I'm not very good at that kind of thing but it's such a waste otherwise.
I'd better get on downstairs, it's awful and there's loads to do - I really want to get it mostly done before I collect ds.

Thats a shame shouldbe but very good that they don't fit so well now.
How about trying to sell them on MN to get a bit of money back? I am pretty useless at sewing things too.

Hmm - I guess I could just try to sell them on, they are nice. I've just been trying them on again and two are a little too big and the third is a quite tight, despite them all being the same size and very similar styles I like them though - maybe they'd be better with a different outfit and if I wear a cami underneath I may get away with the larger ones without them gaping and showing my rather shabby bra......
I'm pleased with the weight loss but am stuck on the 6lbs though, no more off...

Shouldbe Do they still sell them in Sainsburys? Assume tags are on so maybe worth a try returning them or see if they will swap with different size.

Floors are wet downstairs now so I have the perfect excuse for a few mins on MN I need to sort through the washing and get some put away and I would've liked to have got the kitchen sorted before ds comes home but it's going to have to wait. Otherwise, although I say so myself(), I've done well today

yadda I'm feeling rather smug actually Was very committed to getting jobs done right from before bed last night as the house is just on that edge when it'd all start to get me down and I really didn't want to go there. The kitchen is a right state but I'm hoping I can shove ds in the sandpit and get that done this afternoon
Better go and get a clean top on before I go and collect ds.
