Do you know I think it was aufish whose dad was coming or something for her birthday but happy yaddahday anyway and enjoy the bouncy castle. Thanks shouldbe! I had had rather a lot to drink and luckily it was really late and most people had gone to bed apart from us party tyes on the trampoline.

I've already had my presents from the kids and the other half as I chose them, am going to my male best friend's wedding in June and I got my dress and shoes as my birthday present as I knew if I left it to other half then it would be something that wouldn't have been suitable. Bless him! He's off to the doctors again this morning as his headache still hasn't gone, I'm quite worried about him now.

Aufish I hope dp is OK, must be quite a worry for you.

We're off on our bike ride next - kids finally got out of the bath and are extra clean and shiney, I expect dd'll fall off her bike into a muddy puddle now, lol! See you later.

WM emptied, we washing hung up, TD loaded and run and quilts stitched together.

Oh and I mucked out Patch and Austin. They are still in temp accomodation (tupperware) but seem happy. I think I will get them that Ikea mini greenhouse for a new home.

4 miles of bike ride completed Dd did brilliantly on her bike, she has a small fall but was very brave. We've been to the chemist too. I'm off to make lunch now, cheesy pasta today, then the kids can play while I get my haircut and pack a picnic tea (hope the weather holds this afternoon - it's rather grey across the valley...)

Oh dear...wanted to take kids on the picnic but am feeling panicy already....have been miles better lately and don't want to beat myself up about the odd bad day but don't want the kids to miss out either....know I should go but not sure I can leave the house.... and with myself

Well been busy (ish)
Dc's have been playing really nicely together so i've done a whole pile of laundry/ironing

Getting the whole of the outside of our house painted starting tommorrow .. had been planning on going out .. do i have to wait in for them and ply them with sugary tea all day ?? And what about the loo ? I imagine they'll need it at some point so I can't just dissappear for hours ? Or can I ?

sort out and wash mountain of washing done
clean tablemats (covered in yesterdays takeaway curry)

Only got the ironing to do now

Patch and Austin's housing got to me, so I went to IKEA to get a big glass jar. I also stocked up on batteries for DS's toys etc. Came home and rehoused the molluscs. I'll replace the big bottle when I can but they are in a compact and bijou setting

Done

Drill holes in top of jar
create snail habitat and add snails
All downstairs glass cleaned
Peg washing out
load and run TD
Empty washer and put to dry
Find remote controlled cars and replace the batteries

IKEA wasn't so bad today, or I may be getting immune now

Yay! Managed the picnic It was really good fun - loads of parents and kids there so I'm pleased we didn't miss out. Have arranged a play-date for Friday too so that fills up our week
Better go and put PJs on kids, they're both tired and ready for an early night.

GO I am constantly smiling at the snail stories...how long do garden snails live in captivity?

We didn't make it to the swimming pool, but had a nice day anyway today. No housework was done I've invited loads of friends and all their children over tomorrow afternoon. No idea how many will turn up, but I need to tidy up again tomorrow morning to be ready (at least two obsessive compulsive cleaners will be here)
