POLL - Do you have a fire extinguisher at home?

And if so where do you keep it?

I am pretty unsure about getting one as I have heard you can actually cause more harm than good if you misuse them.
We have a fire blanket in the kitchen, and smoke alarms in every room, but a friend was horrified that we didn't have an extinguisher. They have four apparntly!

Smoke alarms upstairs and down.
Always take mobile to bed (emergency contact for lots of elderly relatives so have to anyway)
Mobile has powerful torch on it.
Have MOE windows in all bedrooms. Keys are hidden, hooked on curtain rails.

Fire blanket in garage, more likely to be useful there.
