Beautiful smelling cleaning products!

Super house proud, enjoy cleaning to an extent but would love some new products that are going to make my house smell gorgeous. Specifically for bathroom and kitchen as these obviously are the two that have the most unpleasant smells (poo, dustbin, you get my drift!).

Any ideas?

I bought some Zoflora based on the MN cult, and really don't like it.

I dislike any cleaning products/toiletries that smell of food so most of the suggestions on here wouldn't appeal to me. I admit to liking the smell of Flash Bathroom Cleaner, and wish that I could find something as effective that was less environmentally unfriendly.

Aldi lavender multi purpose cleaner i mix it with water in a spray bottle i also add a few drops of grapefruit essential oil to the drawer when doing laundry and it smells beautiful when it comes out

ParadiseLaundry · 22/05/2018 17:55

You can get a loo gel from Savers and it smells amazing. It comes in ocean fresh (blue) lime zing (green) and something flowers (pink).

The pink flowed one is absolutely amazing, even DH commented on how nice it smells. It costs about 85p and lasts 6 weeks, it has an applicator with lines on so you can apply the right amount. It makes the whole bathroom smell great!

I use Method everywhere and Zoflora Country Garden.
For the bathroom I use all lavender scented products. I also rub a drop of lavender oil on the taps and the bottom of the bin.
We have a large wooden cabinet for DH and mine's toiletries and I occasionally rub a tiny bit of his aftershave into the inside of his (wooden) door and a tiny bit of my perfume into mine. It gives off a subtle hint of "us" when you open each door that I find kind of soothing. They go well together too 😊
At night I always have an oil diffuser going as it helps my asthma. Sometimes I use it in the kitchen with bergamot or peppermint oil if I have cooked something particularly "aromatic" 😁

Zoflora pink grapefruit

threefeet · 22/05/2018 21:49

Method Pink Pomelo range. It smells DIVINE. I've had comments from visitors after using it. And the packaging is very pretty too. Grin

Gappyonthetwits · 23/05/2018 11:08

Method Eucalyptus bathroom cleaner and Zoflora Bluebell Woods down the toilet/plugholes combine to make my bathroom smell lovely.

Highhorse1981 · 23/05/2018 11:10

Zoflora smells cheap. It really does.

Nothing beats lots of open windows all day and fresh flowers.

Highhorse1981 · 23/05/2018 11:10

In terms of products, method is brilliant

Highhorse1981 · 23/05/2018 11:11

The method wood floor cleaner

Delicious!

cloudtree · 23/05/2018 11:13

zoflora green apple
method almond wood cleaner

ILikeyourHairyHands · 23/05/2018 11:24

YY to Method, almond floor cleaner in the squirty bottle and the almond woodspray.

And the minty one for the bathroom.

But the Waitrose eucalyptus PPs mentioned is also good.

SharpLily · 23/05/2018 11:35

Method and Zoflora, as other posters have said. Also try Tincture. They're expensive but wonderful.

For laundry try Zara Home.

Stefoscope · 24/05/2018 11:05

The name is cheesey, but I recently picked up some cleaning sprays from the cleanology range (Lidl, but I expect they stock elsewhere too). They're essential oil based and smell lovely. I got the rose and mint multipurpose and the orange glass cleaner. Think they cost around £1.50 for a biggish bottle, so not too pricey.

Mummyduck10 · 24/05/2018 11:06

Method wood polish....smells good enough to eat!

maggienolia · 01/06/2018 22:04

The smell of Zoflora always reminds me of old ladies commodes.
Love Flash bathroom cleaner though.

SuzieClare · 04/06/2018 21:54

Method pink grapefruit & Zoflora are my faves.

JaneLinderman · 17/12/2018 11:45

You guys have to try Wilton London.
They're not in the supermarkets yet but popping up all over - their Cedarwood laundry smells so good, and the whole house smells delicious when you do a wash. Apparently they're launching cleaning sprays soon.

tryingtosortmylifeout · 17/12/2018 18:29

Loving this thread. I just ordered my first Method mint bathroom cleaner and all-purpose cleaner for the kitchen. So excited!

tryingtosortmylifeout · 17/12/2018 18:31

@JaneLinderman I just checked out their website and it looks lovely. I'm tempted to place an order for some Cedarwood fabric conditioner!

Go for it, I use the Cedarwood and it’s so nice
