Hi, I've been sorting through my kitchen cupboards and I'm not happy with the mismatch glasses that are on a shelf which has a light in it. When the light is on ,not very often the mismatch of all different glasses looks rubbish.
So, as part of the Kondo method I've decided to treat myself to possibly 6 glasses of 2 or 3 styles that match and spark joy!?
At the moment I've got Ikea huge glasses, cheap Tesco ones but not a full set of any...
I can't afford to spend lavish amounts on new ones and feel a bit bad as the ones that I'm getting rid of are 'fit for purpose' and it does seem a bit wasteful.
But anyone seen any reasonably priced, fairly plain but stylish glasses please? Thanks

Try tkmaxx and homesense I’ve seen loads of nice ones in there. Take the old ones to a charity shop?

Get Duralex. They are tempered glass so durable.

Ikea

The Duralex Picardie are lovely glasses. I got the 500ml and now want some smaller ones for wine, I mean the kids! For some reason, probably due to old age, they give me great pleasure to drink from. In fact I have got a bit obsessed generally with glasses lately and also got some lovely crystal opera glasses from Amazon which are also dishwasher safe

M&S have some good ones.

Thank you for the replies. I did think about homesense and will have a look at the weekend. I think it's going to be best to buy them in the shop to check how sturdy the glass is. I did find 2 glasses lurking in the teenagers rooms so l have 4 matching tumblers and 4 high ball glasses.

Check out local charity shops they often have whole sets of beautiful glasses for peanuts

I was coming back on to say charity shops! But see I was beaten to it.

We did this at New Year and got some Dartington everyday ones from John Lewis which I think were a special purchase.
