Just an observation....dirty toilets/tidy house VS clean toilet/messy house

I have noticed that the people I know seem to have either a messy house and clean toilet and sinks.
Or a tidy house but a grotty loo complete with a months worth of pubes wrapped round the sink taps..
Is this your experience or ???????

Yep - we are off the messy(ish) house/clean toliet brigade. I have quite a tolerance for mess (not an enormously high one, though), but can't stand lack of hygiene.

certainly true of my mil lol!! house is filthy dirty but all she cares about is that it's tidy
my house is a tip but the two clean parts are the kitchen sink and toilet so maybe it is true

Our loos are always ok
house clean enough (due to cleaner, nto me)
but quite often messy or untidy, which is fine I tihnk.

My house is both messy and dirty but (and this might be relevant to your observations) I would always clean the loo and sink if I knew someone was coming round, so maybe the people you know with clean loos and messy houses are doing the same prior to your visit?

Oh yes DG...and the others tidy up and leave the loos PMSL Never thought about it like that!!!!!!!

Yeah, their houses are normally so untidy, they have no time to do the loo once they have cleared away the mess!

i am not the tidiest of people,toys allover the floor etc don't bother me but i am clean.i like a clean bathroom,fresh towels everyday and a spotless kitchen.

oh and i have a thing about my dining table-NOTHING is allowed on it.hate when you go to peoples houses and there are piles of clothes,keys,books etc on the table.makes me cringe!

my house is tidy and the toilet is reasonably clean - when do boys start aiming better- but my fridge was minging until i cleaned it this weekend, i stuff things in cupboards, i never clean under the sofas and beds get changed when there's visible dirt - tbh that's sometimeds more than weekly though. i think i'm lazy and my dh doesn't care either.

I am anal about tidyness but couldn't give a toss about cleanliness.
