those e-clothes are a rip off.an ordinary micro fibre cloth and some baby oil works wonders.

shergar · 06/05/2007 22:36

Is anyone else starting to think that the OP markets Swift?! The timing and content of that Amazon review looks very very similar...

When we sold our last house the buyers gave us asking price with a "Can we have your lovely stainless steel fridge too?" condition.
DH and I said, "Sure, of course you can!" - couldn't wait to get rid of the fecker with all the bloody finger prints all over it (it was spotless the day the buyers viewed the house)

We later bought one that has a special coating that makes cleaning with a soft damp jay cloth a dream

NotanOtter · 06/05/2007 22:46

i wont but SWIFT will! It will make light work of your balcony

I may be about to hang myself good and proper here, but has no-one used liquid soda crystals? 99p for a spray bottle of the stuff in Wilkinsons. No bleech in it, no odd smell of spring or lavender or cut grass and it cleans EVERYTHING. You can use it neat or diluted, from the bath to spills on carpets and even spots on your laundry.

Sorry if you've all used this before and thought it crap, I'm new to this and thought I might be of some use!

NotanOtter · 06/05/2007 22:52

liquid soda crystals??
will try them....i wonder where else you can get them?

Sometimes seen them in Asda and Morrisons, but definately in Wilkinsons.

NotanOtter · 06/05/2007 23:11

will try it then if yourate it!

MaureenMLove · 06/05/2007 23:12

At 99p you'd be a fool not to try!

Pannacotta · 06/05/2007 23:13

Notanotter, don't suppose you want to sell me one of your 10 bottles? Want to try it out on my stained stainless steel cooker (?!) but can't find it locally and don't want to spend £3 on postage with amazon....

Otter · 29/05/2007 23:33

ahhhhh swift - cant wait till tomorrow to start swifting again

Skribble · 29/05/2007 23:45

I like Sheila shine, it cleans off all the marks and leaves a coating which keeps surfaces shiney and mark free for ages.

Albert · 30/05/2007 01:26

Moon66 - have you tried T Cut on your stove top? It's the thing for removing light scratches from car paint work. I've used in on heaps of things (but never on a car) and it seems to work really well.
Sorry hijack over

suzywong · 30/05/2007 01:30
