Doing my usual online shop for Monday. Snow, what there was, has all gone yet these two companies have decided there will be no deliveries on Monday. Bastards.

Are you my MIL?
I told her we are snowed in. All roads shut. No food lorries getting north. Army out helping nhs/emergency services.
She said: 'ooh put cbeebies on and get a Tesco delivery' Grin

But there's NO snow and none forecast. It's much milder here and yet...I know it's a first world problem but now I have to use my valuable Sunday morning to go to bloody Tesco.

It doesn't hugely matter if there's snow near you - if there's snow near their depots or on their distribution lines, your delivery is impacted even if your house is fine.

Some roads are awful out there today, still. Sainsbury's and Tesco have to look after their drivers too.

Sympathy for having to go tomorrow morning though. Any chance you could do an evening shop tonight? Might be slightly more preferable!

Are the YB doing click and collect, still a pain but at least you don’t have to slog around the shop.
