What type of sink do you have and do you like it?

I need to order a new kitchen sink and quick! I had a stainless steel one delivered with my new kitchen but have been put off it by people telling me it’s hard to keep looking clean....
We previously had a black one (no idea what material we inherited it with the house) but that always felt dirty to me...
So what type of sink do you have, and what do you like/hate about it?

I have a stainless steel sink by Franke which I am guessing was put in during the late 80's and is really easy to keep clean. I would love a white sink, but I think that would be really hard to keep white, whereas I use the evil that is bleach on mine once a week and its super shiny.

Loathe stainless steel with a passion (though love the look prior to any use!). Any one I have had constantly looks filthy even when spotless. I have one in my utility, so thankfully, I don't have to look at it so much! longtompot - how do you not get the rage with every minute smudge and drip?

Now have black anthracite (think that's it) and it's heavenly and shows up nothing at all. Can scrub and bleach it quite happily and stays jet black.

PIL's have white, don't think it's hard to keep white, though FIL is utterly addicted to bleach......

Anthracite would look good with the black granite worktop....
I might have to go and feel a couple and dork out if it’s what we had before... ours went all rough, almost like paint bubbling? Wondering if we perhaps used something on it we shouldn’t have?

That hasn't happened to ours, had it two years and it seems bulletproof so far and we are slightly obsessive in cleaning it (not that it ever LOOKS dirty!) and nothing has changed its feel or appearance at all. Good luck!
