why do I have loads of water in the soap tray of my washer?

it's in the little blue bit you stick the conditioner in - it's there after every wash/increases.

I use powder (normally not as much as they recommend) have put it thru on a boil wash empty, any ideas?

mine always does this too, always has. Sorry not much help.

take the drawer out and give it a really good scrub. It may well be the holes have got blocked with gunk.

A boil wash empty won't help your soap drawer.

I hate to be a geek but I believe (haven't looked myself) that the site whitegoods.co.uk is good for this sort of thing.
