Hey,

I'm trying to be slightly more organised with my housework and not just do the basics until I know someone is coming to visit when I then run round like a madwoman making it look clean and tidy!
Can you tell me what jobs you do and which are weekly/monthly/hardly ever etc. please.
Currently I do weekly (or more if it needs it for eg. sweeping the kitchen floor, I seem to do that nearly every day):
sweeping laminate
vacuum lounge
clean bathrooms
change bedding
change towels
dust around tv
clean coffee tables

Every 3-4 weeks
vacuum the stairs and upstairs rooms
wipe/dust windowsills
wipe/dust skirting boards
clean cupboard fronts in kitchen
clean windows

From writing this I feel like the list isn't very big. Are there any jobs I should be doing and am missing out on hoping I'm not a disgusting slob missing out on obvious jobs endangering the health of my precious children

Thank you

I've just started using an app, clean my house. It has loads of jobs, edit how quickly you want them to come round. So far, I've found it really helpful. And satisfying when you tick them off!

Don't do any more cleaning! Find something more fun to do with your time.

If your pre-visitor running around is more tidying than cleaning then consider adding a five minute pick-up or two on a daily basis to keep clutter under control?
