My car has deteriorated over the years, with the main problem being that i let my children drink milk in their car seats with resulting horrible pongy smell so so so much worse in the summer.
I recently spring cleaned it, took out all the seats and uuurgh lots of scrubbing later , car looks much better.
However the yukky stale milk smell persisted until i read on here, white vinegar left overnight in the bowl should get rid of the smell.
Somewhat sceptically i tried it, and it works, AMAZING thankyou thankyou
Might even have to join the fly thread now
Any other tips you though would never work , but did

So will you be letting your children drink milk in the car anymore? or not ?

And any tips on how to sort this out? pretty please?

DarrellRivers · 26/04/2007 14:41

never ever again
so should have listened to everyone who told me not to.
not sure about your desk top though, i'once coloured in scratches on a fake wood table with a felt tip
is that any good?
you see , you can tell i'm not a proper domestic person

You know the felt tip might not be a bad idea!! off to raid dd1's pen box!!!!!! Really theres 2 long scratches and lots of tiny white dots!

I haven't got round to it yet! I looked at the time and realised I needed to get ready to get dd1 from school and this is the first time I have sat down since, can't raid pens now cus dd's are in bed! Will have a look tomorrow.

My db made me get leather seats in the last car I bought. At the time (pre ds) I think I said something about not letting my child eat or drink in the car. How he laughed. I'm very grateful for his forsight now.
