Fabric conditioner for sensitive skin- can you recommend one with a nice fragrance please?

Dh has bought a 1.5 litre bottle of fabric conditioner, Comfort Pure, for sensitive skin, (which is going to last us forever and a week). And it smells rank/sickly. It smells like the clothes have been left in the washing machine with the door open, and some clothes have dried quicker in some places than others.

I’ve checked the washing machine to make sure it’s not that, it’s only 6 months old, and no dirt trapped round the rubber ring. And doesn’t smell much better straight from the bottle. As it’s a big bottle, and going to last us ages. I was thinking of pouring some down the drain and add a nicer one to it to mask that smell. Please help, Many thanks 💐💐

Wouldn’t recommend mixing different brands of FS.

Life’s to short to hat the smell of your clothes, either give the stuff away or bin it (ashamed to say I have done this many a time when I have not liked the smell of one).

Fairy FS is a nice smell, but smells are subjective, so you may have to go a smell different ones.

Do you have to use it at all?

I haven’t for years and it makes no difference to clothes. Although I dry most things in the tumble dryer.

From the title of the thread, I clicked to say 'Try Comfort Pure'...

I love the smell of this! A houseguest once asked me what the scent was after I washed his clothes, and has bought Comfort Pure ever since.
