Talk to me about coffee machines

My beloved krups espresso machine has died after 10 years. I went into John Lewis and was a bit overwhelmed by all the choice and no one was there to help. Can anyone recommend me theirs? Are the bean to cup ones worth the money over the ground coffee ones?

Another delonghi bean to cup machine owner here. I luffs it and would definitely replace it if/when it breaks. I don't want to think about that sad day, but it's been used every day for many, many years. It is, of course, only as good as the bean you use, but when you find the one, stick with it.
