Ah yes. Oven liner. That's the name of it.

FrayedKnot · 05/04/2007 20:11

The kitchen roll holer thingie you can tear teh sheets off with one hand.

It has changed my life.

everyone who visits says they must get one.

zippitippitoes · 05/04/2007 20:19

never looked at the catalogue but needed something to clean the tft with so ordered something and saw an oven cleaner so ordered that yesterday too hope they aren't rubbish as very expensive

Skyler · 05/04/2007 20:22

OH yes my bistro sandwich maker, perfect for sandwiches, hot cross buns, pittas, halloumi, ciabattas etc etc. We use it nearly every day. I don't know why we even have a toaster any more.

JackieNo · 05/04/2007 20:23

Microfibre cloths (pack of several for different purposes). Klippits. Oven mate. Messy mats.

joorla · 05/04/2007 20:29

Oven liner
Cake tin liners - no more faffing with baking paper cutting to size.
Lamifoil Bags - for freezing soups

Pack lunch box with a ice pack - that goes in the freezer - ideal for dh as his office doesn't have a fridge so keeps his lunch cool until lunchtime.

And many more that i can't remember but use all the time.

lackofgravitas · 05/04/2007 20:52

Heh, oven liner - bought some a year and a half ago, and I still haven't actually cleaned the bottom of the oven so I can put the liner down and KEEP it clean.

NannyL · 05/04/2007 20:59

sticky stuff remover
klippets
green spongey cushion for bottom of fruit / veg tray

Furball · 05/04/2007 21:09

leakproof pop up bottle, great for ds' lunchbox, no leaks.

Ovenmate - miracle cleaner, wipe it on, wait, then wipe off again. result is one clean sparkly oven like brand new no elbow grease and no smell, amazing.

misstimms · 06/04/2007 12:49

I too am an Lakeland addict (had to stop myself being impressed with the solider toast cutter ...the things newborns can do to a once active mind...!)
Best thing I've brought from there which was cheap is their fridge tidy on wheels (small one) in which i organise my cheese. Recommend this to everyone!

ScotGirl · 06/04/2007 14:01

Green veg bags - really keep you lettuce crispy!

fortyplus · 06/04/2007 20:48

Don't know if they sell them in Lakeland, but my favourite gadget is a potato ricer - light, fluffy, mashed potato without the lumps.

singingmum · 06/04/2007 20:50

They do sell potato ricers in lakeland.
They sell everything don't they!

accessorizewithbabysick · 06/04/2007 22:54

oooh, the strawberry licorice...I held out for ages, but bought the tefal grater that you put in the fridge a couple of months ago and it's fab fab fab for parmesan freshly grated at the table.

babygrand · 06/04/2007 22:55

I did think the banana guard, until dd decided she wouldn't take it to school any more. Very good idea though!

yaddayah · 07/04/2007 11:35

The potato and vegetable bags are very good

Kif · 10/04/2007 22:41

Lakeland? Amateur gadgeteering. You really want to do a tour of East End pound shops. The fun you can have! The 'guess the product game' the 'who can waste their fiver most creatively game' and the ever entertaining 'what will the kids bring back if you give them 60 seconds to choose whatever they like'.

brimfull · 10/04/2007 22:47

simmer mat for gas rings, stops me burning things, tis fab.

I bought the oven liner things, but my oven has metal tubey things on the bottom that heat up so can't fit them.If you want them aitch ,I'll send them to you.

themoon66 · 11/04/2007 12:47

Klippits.
Huge glass worktop protectors.
Chocolate essence stuff that you add to chocolate cakes to make them extra choclately.
ambidextrous rubber gloves.
