Can dry clean only suit trousers be rescued after machine wash?

Suit trousers were washed in the machine rather than dry cleaned as they should have been . Now they are all bobbly and not looking great. Any recommendations on how to remove the bobbles and rescue them please?

As long as they still fit, could you go over them with one of those de-fuzzier thingies?
