Dyson DC15 Animal finally kaput, any recommendations for a family home with 2 dogs?

Hiya, just thought I might get some good advice here. Our dyson 15 animal was a little heavy but fabulous with dog hairs (collie and beagle), my sister has the DC25 which was a bit poor in comparison.
So now it's kaput, any recommendations? Actually looked at ebay for DC15's but generally same price as some new - might be best to get a new vacumn?

Following. I have a dog and 2 cats. My Hetty Hoover is useless with animal hair.

I have the Miele cat and dog vacuum after extensive research .Have had it over 5 years .We have a black Labrador that sheds badly .It has a powered brush head thing .I think it's still the best rated if you look into it .

Shark liftaway!

I have always said Miele cat and dog c3 as I have one of those, but I bought the Shark a couple of weeks ago as I wanted a bagless upright and it's amazing! I can't believe the fur that is coming out of my 'clean' carpet.

I just stayed at a holiday rental with the g tech k9. Very sad but I was quote excited to use it after seeing the adds but it was no good against my Labrador's shedding.

We've got a Vax pet vacuum cleaner and it's brilliant - way better than our old Dyson.

Just got the shark lift away following recommendations on here. It's amazing. The amount it picks up is always surprising/shocking! particularly the first time you use it and it's easy to clean curtains, upholstery etc.
