I think we need to get one we have a several animals inc two dogs and two kids. Our carpets, beds, car seats and rugs are getting grubby and smelly.

Are any of them any good? I'd like one I could whip out and use when my pup pees himself in excitement at new visitors. Or charges in from the garden with muddy paws.

Get a Numatic George. It's like Henry but bigger and is a wet & dry vacuum so converts from dry vacuuming to carpet washing. It's brilliant, the water it pulls out of the carpet is black

Thanks Rabbit. I'll have a look at them Smile

Ours has been a god send with pets & kids. It gets sick and wee out of carpets!!

Also we use it in dry mode for vacuuming the car and for clearing up DIY mess

I've got a relatively cheap washer vax (it can't be used as a dry vac) and it is brilliant. It has a hand tool attachment which I use more than the actual upright. It's quick and efficient, I did our whole upstairs of our new house in a day and it got rid of all doggy smells and stains. I think it was about £100
