Massive issue with mold in my bathroom - this is just by putting it on and now we wait for the final outcome

You make it a paste consistentcy - I used a whole tub of bi carb so there was plenty and put on with a tooth brush

I've just done my shower like this. I bought a Kg of bicarbonate from Amazon and mixed a paste with regular thick bleach. I spread it on with an old toothbrush and it started working immediately.

It's feckin wonderstuff.

The grout is like new, seriously like new and it's 15 years old. It even got rid of black mould in the silicone sealant. The mould took 24 hours to shift the grout took a couple of hours.

I posted about bicarb and bleach a month or so ago.

Am I sad for hoping it was my post you saw!?

I'm a massive fan of bleach and bicarb for mould. I tend to leave it overnight or all day.

I just had grey grout put in when we tiled...

I've had this thread saved for months until I felt up to having a go at the shower... well it's miraculous and better than anything shop bought! it's now like new grout!
I'm now eyeing up the rest of the house with the leftover paste...

You can never get it wrong with this one.

Is it just grout it works on, do you reckon, or could I I try applying it to a moldy wall? Will it eat my wall if I do?

Steamer with the wire brush attachment and a normal bathroom spray works wonders without needing bleach.

Retired you can get a sealant remover gel, and a special shaped tool, just put the gel on leave an hour, scrape the resulting paste off and thoroughly clean behind then reseal.

The bleach and bicarbonate combo has worked better than any mound remover I've bought though. And it did the sealant round the window which had gone black in places.
