Gas hob - stainless steel or gas on glass/ceramic

Hi all

We are choosing a new gas hob for our kitchen and the only thing I care about is that it's easy to clean! We definitely want gas not induction, but I'm not sure about how easy to clean the new style gas on black glass or ceramic are? Are they easier because they're flat or harder because they show every mark?

Interested to find out

We are starting I plan new kitchen and I discounted the glass ones as they're flat and when the pan boils over surely the liquid will all spill over and go on to the worktop?
The stainless steel ones seem to have an edge to our stop that happening.

The glass does look nice tho!
