School polo shirts-where's best to buy?

Ds school has just changed uniform policy from shirts to polo shirts.

I am a slattern & wash everything together-haven't enough white things to do a weekly white wash, also would rather not buy loads of cheap polo shirts & bin them when they get stained-just hate the waste. Even though ds usually wears a jumper, his white polo shirts that he's worn just on PE days seem to stain v easily. Both m&s and tesco I think.

Hoping for some sort of coated stain resistant one somewhere that I've not come across, or am I asking for the moon on a stick?!

Tescos and asda are good.

Avoid sainsburys, they shrunk in the wash, went an off white colour and stained so easily. I've brought some from a school website, £8 per polo shirt and they were just as bad!

Tesco 2 for £2.50 are great. Avoid Morrisons - thinner material.

Thanks-will head to Tesco then!

I like Trutex ones. They are more expensive that the supermarkets and M&S but the collars never need ironing and don't sort of curl underneath at the corners, and they don't shrink in my very aggressive tumble dryer.
