Advice needed on how to get rid of smells on leather settee

Helloooooo, please can anybody recommend something to remove smells from a leather settee? The smell is mainly on 1 seat (it's a 3 seater settee), where my dh sits, and is just rank. Its embarrassing when friends or family visit, as they seem to perch on the edge of the settee, so must be able to smell it too. Please help.

A paste of bicarbonate of soda rinsed off with white vinegar got cigarette smells out of a leather jacket here so might work. Would prob take quite a bit though.

I always use leather spray but if that doesn't cover the odour you could try dettol or any detergent that removes bacteria. I'm sure if you only put some and then wipe it out quickly it won't damage it.
