We'll be moving into our new house in a couple of weeks and we've decided to lay laminate flooring downstairs (already in the kitchen). What's the best type of mop or swiffer-type thing to use?

i am so pleased i chose laminate for my new house,i'd be lost without it now.i tend to just hoover it with the dyson everyday, using the small nozzle to get in the nooks and crannys, under sofa etc.i just use an ordinary vileda mop with flash floor cleaner to clean.

Yes i just use a vileda mop on mine too. After spending the whole of Saturday cleaning my nans carpets i think it should be law that everyone has laminate

Microfibre mops are fab - you can use them wet or dry, and just use water when you use them wet - also you can take off the microfibre bits and chuck them in the washing machine to clean them.

I've also got one of these which is great for daily cleaning. (Daily - hah - as if)
