Have chosen this for a theme for ds's room.
I've found a few Cath Kidston and Laura Ashley bits but there isnt all that much.

Anyone got any ideas?

quite like the bandana theme- maybe you can get bandana curtains

motherinferior · 23/02/2007 12:14

I'm channelling Brokeback Mountain, which probably isn't helpful, is it.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 12:17

Is that a tea towel Creamola?

Not sure about curtains. I do need some because the ones up atm have motorbikes on from the previous owner

I think its all going to go really well because there are the original beams on the ceiling in that room so I think they'll add to the theme of it all.

Jackie, those doors have given me a good idea too. Currently there is a built in wardrobe but the last owners have made it from any kind of junk they could have got hold of so its a real mess.
Saloon doors would be a good replacement

Only if you can channel Heath Ledger and Jake Gyellenhall MI

cremolafoam · 23/02/2007 12:21

wow

cremolafoam · 23/02/2007 12:22

think it's a bath towel

cremolafoam · 23/02/2007 12:23

getting carried away now

SecondhandRose · 23/02/2007 12:25

I was going to say Builders but I think I'm off the plot a bit.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 12:31

They have some lovely fabric Creamola.

SecondhandRose · 23/02/2007 12:34

And of course I was right. Anyway it is a duvet cover with cows on it!

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 12:35

How gorgeous is that!

I must be honest though, ds is only 6 months

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 23/02/2007 12:45

6mo and you're going this mad over his room?!

Do it all plain and add cowboy duvet and cushion covers you can change easily - give it a year or two and he'll want knights or Bob or dinosaurs something...

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 12:49

See I can do character bedding but nothing else

He'll like Cowboys and thats that

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 23/02/2007 12:49

6 months!

my dd didn't have curtains at all till she was 1

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 14:03

I suppose I'm getting carried away because the house is just in such a bad way.
I've already done 4 rooms and we've only been here since June last year.
Ds is due to go in his own room as soon as he gets rid of this bloomin chicken pox so I'd like it to look nice. Instead of the scooby doo border thats half hanging off with the motorbike curtains and makeshift wardrobe!

OP posts:
MrsBadger · 23/02/2007 14:16

scrape off the border, paint it cream or light yellow and get some plain curtains

I promise he won't notice anything else!

JackieNo · 23/02/2007 14:18

Just as well you can't see my DS's room. Still has a load of DH's computer stuff in it (actual floppy disks, anyone?), plus old bedding and outgrown clothes in a pile on the floor. Needs replastering too, on one of the walls.

NbgsYellowFeathers · 23/02/2007 14:21

lol JN.
I couldnt do it

I have this unhealthy urge to decorate all the time.
