Annoying things you want to buy but don't know what they are called

So I was some little clips with sticky on one side to tidy away the satnav cable in the car....

I have big deep cupboards and need an extra shelf to use the space more effectively

But what do I search for? Any ideas?

Do you have something you want but you don't know what it's called?

Cupboard shelf insert.

Self adhesive cable clip.

Amazing Maid - I have been googling all morning

Clips bought

Do you think this is safe enough for my wedding china?

Katymac, I you can go to homebase and have them cut pieces of MDF to fit the full width and about half the length of your cabinet. Then simply screw in a couple of screws (or use those shelf holder things if you're feeling fancy) and you've got a strong, cheap, effective shelf. And it doesn't have to be terrible looking, depending on your level of DIY skill and patience.

Sorry, I mean a few screws for the shelf to sit on, if that wasn't clear.

Hmm, maybe my DIY skills are limited by my joints & DH makes a great dance teacher, not so much a DIYer

Let me think

Would something like this help? this rather than a full shelf.

Katymac · 10/01/2017 16:55

Maybe, I'm still cogitating

Most standard kitchen cupboards have a range of holes for differing shelf heights.
Remove existing shelf and support and take them to Homebase or b&q, they will cut melamine to match and sell you the correct supports.
All my wall cupboards came with a single shelf so I only could have 2 layers of china glasses whatever.
Added a second shelf and have loads more space

They aren't actually kitchen cabinets - they are in a sideboard and fixed it

But I know what you mean Smile
