Is it OK to use soda crystals on a shower door

I need to remove limescale from a shower door and was thinking of diluting some soda crystals and using the solution to clean the door. Does this sound OK or would it be too harsh? Any other suggestions?

It would be fine, but vinegar might be better for limescale.

HG is fab for limescale but I always use a magic sponge on my shower doors - gets them sparkly clean in no time.

HG have a new shower cleaning product and were giving out free mini samples with any other product purchases last week. It has worked very well cleaning up my glass shower screen.

Thanks all. I had never heard of HG but I just googled them. Where do you buy their products?

B&Q, ironmongers, etc and online.

Thanks Wowfudge, I'll be rolling up my sleeves and snapping those Marigolds on!
