How do I get rid of the smell of sick on dss carpet?

Scrubbed with normal soapy types but it still honks.

sprinkle with bicarb of soda generously , leave for a few hours then hoover up, has worked for me many times!!

I second the bicarb. My kids are terrible sickers on the carpet and it works a treat.
